Don’t want to talk about your grief? No problem. You’ve come to the right place.
This approach to grief is so different from everything you’ve seen before. There’s a lot of support out there. There’s grief support groups, there’s therapy couches, and it’s all wonderful. But this is different.
Because in my spaces we hand over the grieving to be processed through your body. The body knows how to process emotions. All we have to do is look back at ancient ritual, dance and movement around loss.
Our culture has condiitoned us that the mind is the end all be all. But the fastest way to move through uncomfortable emotions is by getting out of your mind and into your body.
Grief is an umbrella emotion, it encompasses deep sadness, rageful anger, shame, disgust, frustration and so on. It’s not fun to look at any of these parts of ourself head on but when allow our body to work in the genius way that only our body knows how, this is how we come into relationship with these harder emotions and make them into art and love and pleasure.
And the velocity of transformation increases in community, that’s why we come together in this process. There’s so much power and growth and stretching in community.
Who is with me?
